I'm still learning the couponing way of life and today was my first successful Walgreens trip...while I didn't buy a cart full of merchandise (I prefer to start slow and small), I did manage to rack up some pretty good savings;
Transaction #1
(1) Gilette Fusion Power ProGlide Razor sale price $9.89
mfg coupon - $4.00
Out Of Pocket Expense for Transaction #1 = $5.89
Register Rebate - $5.00
Transaction #2
(1) Gilette Fusion Power ProGlide Razor sale price $9.89
mfg coupon - $4.00
Out Of Pocket Expense for Transaction #2 = $5.89
Register Rebate - $5.00
Transaction #3
(1) Gilette Fusion Power ProGlide Razor sale price $9.89
mfg coupon - $4.00
Out Of Pocket Expense for Transaction #3 = $5.89
Register Rebate - $5.00
Transaction #4
(1) Huggies Diaper $8.99
mfg coupon -$2.00
(2) Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste $4.99 each x 2 = $9.98
Walgreens BOGO deal -$4.99
(2) mfg coupon $1.00 each x 2 = -$2.00
(2) Gilette Antiperspirant & Deodorant $4.99 each x 2 = $9.98
Walgreens BOGO 50% off -$2.50
(2) mfg coupon $1.00 each x 2 = -$2.00
(3) Yellow Highlighters on clearance $0.50 each = $1.50 (for filler)
REGISTER REBATES FROM PREVIOUS TRANSACTIONS -$15.00
Out of Pocket Expense for Transaction #4 = $1.96
Total spent out of pocket for all transactions = $19.63
Total savings = $52.79 (by stacking sales, mfg coupons, and RR)
I'm pleased with that :) I know it's not the best, but that's a pretty good deal if ya ask me!

{Nana G}
....has a nice ring to it, don't ya think?
I certainly hope you like the sound of it because....
I'm going to be a grandmother!!!
Completely unexpected, but very welcome. Matt & Mallorye are awaiting their first little miracle. She has been to her family practice doctor and now, we're just awaiting her OB appointment to find out exactly when this little bundle will arrive. She thinks late January or early February...I'm leaning more toward December. Her HcG levels were very high, which we understand is indicative of either a multiple pregnancy or she's further along than we think.
So...that's the big news. You can follow Mallorye's "mommy diaries" here.
