Dreams Do Come True

Waiting with mommy for our turn!

Monday I had the awesome privilege to see an answered prayer! One of my best friends, Amy M., and her husband Steve, adopted their son. We have prayed for years...so many that I've lost count...for this to happen...and have seen dreams shattered when they were so close to coming true. But not on Monday. Monday, Samuel became a permanent part of their home. They've had Samuel since he was 2 days old as foster parents, so this was so exciting to see it all come true. It's been a long, hard, heart-wrenching journey...but their family is complete. Congratulations guys!

Samuel's FAMILY!! Mom, sister Callie, sister Colbie,& Dad with Judge Halsey...the lady who granted our dream.

What a joy Samuel has already been to our family. He is a blessed little boy to have a family who has loved him from day 2, and what a blessed family we are to have him be a part of it. God is an awesome God. Tahnks for sharing the pics they are really good.

To Steve and Amy in care of Ginger-

We are very happy for you guys. Sometimes the redtape in those issues takes forever. You both have always reached out to children in need or people in need in general. Another scripture that holds true, wait upon the Lord and you will rise as if on Eagles wings.
I cant think of a more deserving couple. May God bless and keep you and your family Steve and Amy. Kids are so awesome.
In the wake of my ex wife, the rumor I heard from a reliable source was that i wouldnt make a very good father.
Well i married a wonderful woman with 4 kids , and our union brought about a child of our marriage. Planned but not quite scheduled lol. One thing pastor Charles told me, is that those people who were to ever say such a thing about me , should have seen me with our kids, especially destiny this last summer when we visited. She is daddys 'nunnine' (sunshine) and she will tell ya exactly that , and the really funny thing is she knows it. When you hear another father tell you that you make a great dad, its a good feeling of accomplishment and stopping the rumor mills ....Destiny was named for the sake of the message in Jeremiah 29:11 Truly a gift from above. Like my wife she is my world. Hope to get to visit our next trip down. until then...love ya guys!
