He Wanted To Go To Lowe's....

....and I wanted to go....

Ladies, let me just say, if you're man wants to go to Lowe's on a Saturday night just to hang out and spend some quality time...DO IT!!

That was our scenario last night and I really just wanted to go home...catch up on laundry...read in my book...veg out...you know, Lowe's just isn't my idea of a grand date!

I won...sort of.

We went home and I started laundry and a little blogging. Hubby tried to find something on the tube and began (aimlessly) sharpening his knife (out of boredom, I later learned).

That one decision. To not go to Lowe's. Sent us to the emergency room for stitches! Yes, in his aimless knife sharpening, he slipped. And you know what? The knife was sharp!! Off to the E.R. we go for 2-1/2 hours and four stitches...woo hoo! Are we having fun now or what?!

So, next time hubs wants to go to Lowe's and kill some time...we're going!!

Yikes! That's a date to forget (the ER), but some great advice. Lowe's it is! (Hubby did try to convince me to go there with him a few weeks ago for a lunch date. They sell hot dogs out front, you know.)

Lowes is like the Handy Mans mall. I would have no problem spending the better part of the day with my wish list out in Lowes. My wife likes it ok, but she thinks the treated lumber section is somewhat aromatically incorrect ...lol .. Cant speak for Q , but for me , talking about issues in an enviroment we enjoy being in, can sometimes reduce the stress, if there is any, and if nothing else we can think a bit clearer and objectively. We dont have the multitasking wiring in our head you ladies have, but we can hold our own . anyhow the wife still likes Lowes , but if I am goin to the lumber section, I am on my own :) thats fine.....theres always the lighting or dream kitchen section ..:)

OUCH!! That does not sound like fun at all. I have to say I like Lowes, but I spend way too much money there :)

I LOVE Lowe's! Daniel and I enjoy doing that sort of thing together, but I can totally understand the desire to just veg at home too.

I hope your husband heals quick! Ouch!!
