All Alone...

...what ever will I do with myself??

Quentin, Mallorye (yes, even with a broken leg), and Blake left this morning after our 2nd church service for Kansas City, MO for a mission trip. This is Blake's first and Mallorye's 4th. I'm so excited that Q is able to be there for Blake's first trip (he was there for Mallorye's first one) and I know they're going to have a great time serving God's people.

I have a few rather large projects I'd like to get done while they're away...we'll see how that goes. Already I miss them. This house is just to big and empty with everyone gone. Hopefully, my "projects" will keep my mind occupied.

Please pray for their safety while they're away.

I feel guilty for wanting alone time, but right now I just need an entire day to myself.
I'm sure you'll find tons of stuff to keep you busy - relax and enjoy yourself!

Well sis , I think your on the right track. Do some projects , get together with the lady friends, just whatever. Your alot like my wife Melissa in that ,you girls can actually make up things to do. LOL... from a guys prospective , we very rarely lack things to do, we just build the list a little differently ...

I figure you made it through the deployment, anything else that comes along that temporarily seperates family will most likely seem like a cakewalk in comparison.

My project list is never ending, and if it does come close to the end, theres always the 'honey-do' or 'daddy-do' list to fall back on :)...oh well for the most part I wouldnt change things to much... in another 20 years I will be retired God willing and the nest will be empty for me and the wife. I figure some things will be missed, may as well have fun and make the best of the chores, and projects.
