Here it is...the weekend already..and my internet is still not up at home. So, I thought I'd log in real quick before going home today.
Still no news on Blake. I'm thinking of getting a 2nd opinion as I'm not feeling very confident in our pediatricians direction. I despise changing doctors, but a year ago had to do just that as ours moved and we had to have someone that took military insurance. I'm questioning my decision now. Any advice on how to find a pediatrician that you can have full confidence in?
Mallorye's volleyball team is going to the State Tournament next week and they're all super excited! It's close to home, so I'm hoping to be able to catch a few games when they play in the evenings. She's doing wonderful since her surgery. Still haven't got her thyroid meds leveled out, but they're working on them. She's also deep in the preparation for a pretty big pageant she has coming up.
I'm doing the Love Dare challenges from the movie Fireproof...tough...but so worth it! And today I'm doing something for me...our chiropractor has a massage therapist and I've scheduled an hour with her after work to hopefully get rid of some tension in my back and neck. I cannot wait!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend! And no, I haven't forgotten about updating you about last weekend (Blue Angels Air Show) but I refuse to write that post without pictures!! LOL!

I'm prayin' for your little guy. in that pic, if his body is weak, his face isn't showing it. I hope you find answers and I hope you both have amazing peace til you do.
Hope you enjoyed your massage :) We all need one of those from time to time. Hope the doctors figure out what's going on with Blake soon. We'll be praying for you guys.

In short, if you have any contacts through Arkansas Chrildrens Hospital, they may be able to put you in touch with a recommended area Pediatric/Cardio-Pulmonary Specialist. As far as having 100% confidence, I have that in no Doctor. They are glorified human bioligist. We are the guinea pigs. However as with any Professional discipline, there are some with knowledge and wisdom gained through experience, and beleive it or not, their are even a few Christian ones left. We must have faith god will provide the people and answers needed. Consider it on the list of things to pray for.
Sounds like Mal is getting back into the swing of things. Good luck with her contest.
On a lighter note. Did you know that a 3lb ball ping hammer would work for your neck and head tension aches? Yep, sure will. Heres what you do, in the morning, just before food or coffee, take the hammer in your hand, and let it drop to your bare foot. No matter where it lands, I guarantee you will forget all about your tension aches:) However you will have at least one side effect , most likely will need some aspirin for the foot. What is it we remind each other about so much? wheres our focus? Seriously , hope you get relif from the headaches etc. They can make life miserable when they flare up.
