Introspect

What do you do when you find yourself at a crossroad where either choice is going to be a difficult road? Do you choose the lesser of two evils? Do you do nothing and let the choice choose you?

I'm at a hard spot.

My emotions are all over the place and I've yet to allow myself to feel their full effect. On the outside things are wonderful, but on the inside...well, it's an entirely different situation.

I'm trying really hard to just seek God and allow Him to work in me and through me. Not an easy task for an OCD control freak. LOL.

In the meantime, I keep extending grace. I keep praying. I keep hoping. And I wait...

...I wait for a clear path and direction.

You know I am lifting you in prayer, my friend. The Lord will make it all clear to you in His time. Be still and know that He is God! Love you!

I have no answers, Ginger, but I'm praying for you.

Hang in there.

Hey sis,

Looks as if you have some faithful prayer warriors joining the fight with you. I too , have not the answers for everything you need to know and yearn to understand. But I will share with you what God calls us each and all to do and what he promises our reward will be for waiting on Him,
Isaiah 40:31 (New Living Translation)

31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Love you sis , just hang in there, keep your focus, and know that we too are praying steadfastly. Remember these things will reveal themselves in Gods time. You know that to be true. Once upon a time , many moons ago , you and Q in the role of Gods faithful servants helped to teach me this very real truth. It took a while, because like you my sis, I was stubborn, used to being in control, or at least thinking I was. But I learned what God taught me well. Now he calls upon those whom are your friends to be of help in whatever way they can. Is has to be more than lip service, we walk by faith not by sight. If we expect people to beleive in our focus in God in our faith, we have no choice but to live it . Not that simple? According to God it is just that simple. So when we say we are praying for another, we better. When any of us calls the other or talks to the other, will we listen will we bear witness as best we can? We must strive with these things. Dont be afraid of what people may or may not think. Scriptures are clear, the fear of man is a snare unto the soul. We are to only fear God my friends. Fear him, love him, respect him and do so by striving to live our lives as he intends for us to. Not as robots, but as faithful Christians seeking eternity with Him. To answer your question sis. The day you accepted Christ you made this choice as well. Joshua tells us , As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Keep your focus sis , do those things which strengthen your faith, dont look back, God doesnt, he forgives our sins when we repent and he mentions them no more. He wants us to concentrate on the here and now, whats done is done.
As i heard an old time Preacher once say, keep on keeping on. The war has been won over 2000 years now, we are just mopping up the skirmishes in this life. Together we can help each other through them, emerging better soldiers for Christ , better moms, better dads and family members, and yes even better friends. God doesnt do platonic relations. Its all or nothing. If this were not true, then Heaven would not be very perfect would it? Sis we missed getting to come this holiday. We will be there the first week of January. Mark your calendar. Next holiday season all of this will be a distant memory God willing. My wife and i love you sis and are here anytime day or night for you and yours
