The Camera Dilemma

Blake's Latest Ballgame...Record 4-1...Go Kiwanis!!

I think that might've been a strike!

Way to watch!!

Ok, here's the thing...I really need a digital camera!! I'm using Mal's P&S Kodak with 5.1 megapixel because it's instant "gratification." I can get the pix to my blog quickly, but the quality stinks!! My sports pictures especially! They're either too fuzzy or too dark! I have a camera that I love...my 35mm...but I have to wait until I've taken the entire roll, have it developed, and then scan the pix to the computer. Very frustrating!!!

So, does anyone have any suggestions on what I need to purchase?? I'm saving for this purchase and hope to be able to at least have camera in hand by the kids birthdays in July!

I loved my Canon Rebel XT. The price has gone down over the last year or so I believe. There are also fairly good middle ground Canons out there but the Rebel-type cameras are pretty stinkin' awesome.

Amazon is a great place to read reviews on a wide variety of cameras.

Hey there..
First off like to ask you and your friends to keep my wife in prayer. She has fallen ill , and as of right now we dont know why. Secondly I dont know about now, but used to be that you could have photos put on a Wal Mart photo CD for 2 or 3 dollars extra. It comes with a program called photo Parade, or used to. But it is ideal, especially if you own a fire safe , because even in the event of a fire or storm, chances are that safe will survive. If you dont have a safe, a central place by the door where you can grab the disc on the way out could save alot of otherwise potentially lost memories. Plus is saves time by eliminating the scanning process, and you can still manipulate or crop the photos with any number of photo edit programs you choose. Just a thought. Probably not worth 2 cents. But I have learned this is the better way to safeguard and deal with photos.
